Reflections of Summer on Lake Superior II

Due to the popularity of the "Reflections of Summer" we have released a second session.
This workshop will give you the complete set of tools to make the best of every image you make. Small group setting ensures plenty of one on one instruction time for your individual learning curve. Each day of the workshop allows for plenty of field work-time. Hands-on learning is the most thorough and enjoyable way to learn!
Day One (Friday):
The workshop begins Friday afternoon 12:00pm at our classroom in downtown Two Harbors. A short lecture will cover workshop orientation, camera technique, and composition.
From there we will explore and photograph the North Shore visiting some old favorite haunts and exploring new ones. Photographic techniques for close-up and wildflowers will be demonstrated.
In the evening we will end up in the Two Harbors area.
Day Two (Saturday):
The morning begins with a sunrise photo-shoot on the shores of Lake Superior. Photographic techniques for lakescapes will be demonstrated. After breakfast we will continue our exploration and photography of North Shore including a hike up a cascading stream. Photographic techniques for waterfalls will be demonstrated.
Our second day will end in the Two Harbors area.
Day Three (Sunday):
Our last day will begin with an optional sunrise shoot on Lighthouse Point in Two Harbors. After breakfast we will reconvene in our classroom for some hands-on digital demonstration and lecture.
Demystifying the world of post processing! Using Adobe Camera Raw software for post processing. How to process for making prints. How to process for the web. How to batch process your images and save time. How to use printer profiles that work! How to calibrate your monitor.
The workshop will end at 3:00pm on Sunday.

Workshop fee is tuition only, and includes a complete set of notes. Accommodations and food are the responsibility of the participant. Upon registration you will receive a list of suggested lodging establishments.
